After 2 years of pretty much zero PT and a high abundance of crappy food I found it effecting my time on the range, work and overall energy levels.
240lbs at 5'9" in that current interation of me wasn't doing me any favors, so 3 months ago I knew a change was needed.
I set short, mid and long term goals as setting goals has always worked well for me. Short term was NO more food from a drive-thru(eat way better) along with 3 days min of cardio n lifting. Mid term was to enter the Oct Texas 5 mile Run n Gun and finish top 5(still to be seen). Long term is to hold around 200lbs and not look like spongebob rock'n a M4.
As of today I weighed in at a not so spongy 219lbs(18 pack is coming in)and I'm at the gym 3 days a week for cardio n lifting and 1 day a week I go to a open roll for the elderly😁
My range time is much more productive but I still have plenty work ahead of me.
In general what do y'all do for conditioning and how much do you feel your conditioning effects your shooting?
