Good post. After I retired, I worked in the oilfield for 3 years(44-47 yrs old) so I got plenty of workout doing that. When I left the oilfield, I started working out and started the Police Academy in MS (48yrs old) until ole Arthur-itis reared it’s ugly head and I could no longer run without major pain in hips, knees and ankles. So, I did nothing until last month at 51 yrs old I started Judo with my 10yr old and 9 yr old. I am shedding weight and feeling a lot better. I have gone from 260 in July down to 235 last week. Luckily, I am not vertically challenged...I am 6’5”.
