Mobility increases survivability. In this drill I start at 10 yards, move to ~7, draw and put three rounds on a 5" circle between 7–5 yards, then close to 3 yards. I use a small sticker for precision work (smaller than the 5" standard) and always try to hit the sticker. Every stance should imply motion. Even if you stop to fire, your position should look like you’re ready to take the next step. Give this drill a try and let me know in the comments how it's feeling!
