Stitch 'Em Up Philosophy
2m 57s
John “Shrek” McPhee breaks down his “Stitch ’Em Up” technique—his approach to the classic two-to-the-body, one-to-the-head drill.
Rather than firing a traditional double tap to the body, pausing, and then searching for the sights again for the head shot, John explains why he prefers to work with the gun’s natural recoil. By maintaining his sight picture and allowing the gun to rise from the chest to the neck to the face, each shot is aimed individually while the sights remain in view.
John demonstrates the mechanics behind the technique, explains why he believes it’s faster at close distances, and shows how controlling sight tracking and shot placement can make the entire sequence more efficient.
